OPEN TENDER NOTICE

The Director, Indian Museum, Kolkata for and on behalf of the Board of trustees invites sealed applications for the following developmental work from the enlisted contractors of Indian Museum as also from legally valid reputed Museum Developers having vast and proven working experiences in the field of Museums of North-Eastern states of the country i.e, Nagaland / Mizoram / Manipur / Meghalaya / Assam / Tripura / Arunachal Pradesh / Sikkim with their own establishment and strong infrastructural facilities in those states and also with the accredited record of having completed similar types of work of quality in Museums for the last three years. All applications along with certified copy of IT, ST, PT clearing certificates, Trade Licence, Bank Solvency certificate having turnover of more than one crore in the last three financial years and all documents in support of credentials should reach this office within seven days from the date of this advertisement.

Details of work :

1. Renovation / Improvement of the sculpture section (east) of the Old State Museum Building of Assam State Museum in Guwahati.
2. Setting up of Huge Archaeology Garden & Sculpture Park in the open area infront of the Auditorium Hall of the Purvajyoti Museum, Panjabari, Guwahati, Assam.
• Phase I display including preparation of site & ambience for placing of FRP made monuments & sculptures of Assam Valley - A Zone.
• Phase II display of the fibre reinforced plastic made monuments & sculptures of national importance & immense archaeological value - B Zone.
3. Renovation & reorganization of Cottage Industry Gallery in the top floor of Purvajyoti Museum of Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalashetra, Punjabari, Guwahati, Assam.
4. Setting up of Anthropology Gallery in the Tawang District Museum along with Archaeology Park & Garden to the open area at Tawang District Museum, Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.
5. Modernisation of the Archaeology Museum & the surroundings of Ita Forte at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
6. Setting up of new gallery on Flora & Fauna of Nagaland at Nagaland State Museum Annexe Building, Kohima, Nagaland.
7. Setting up of new History & Textile gallery at Annexe Building of Nagaland State Museum, Kohima, Nagaland.
8. Setting up of Conferrence Hall / Museum Library / Conservation Laboratory at the Annexe Building of Nagaland State Museum, Kohima, Nagaland.
9. Setting up of Ethnography Gallery in the 2nd floor of Tuphema Govt. Tourist Museum, Phase II work, Tuphema, Nagaland.
10. Upgradation of Mt. Pauna Govt. Tourist Village Museum Benue Peren District, Nagaland.
11. Setting up of new Zoology gallery at the old block of Williumson Sangma State Museum, Meghalaya, Shilong.
12. Setting up of Period Room & Royal objects gallery at the 1st floor of Manipur State Museum, Imphal, Manipur & renuing the floors of all the existing galleries of State Museum at Imphal.
13. Renovation & development of Govt. Village Museum, Khawbung & Centre of heritage in Mizoram Khawbung, Mizoram.
14. Setting up of Archaeological gallery with Horizontal Extension of the top floor & allied development work at Mizoram State Museum, Aizawl, Mizoram.
15. Renovation & upgradation of Pasighat Govt. District Museum & allied works at Pasighat Arunachal Pradesh.
