OPEN TENDER NOTICE

The Director, Indian Museum, Kolkata for and on behalf of the Board of Trustees invites sealed applications for the following developmental work from the enlisted contractors of Indian Museum as also from legally valid reputed Museum Developers having vast and proven working experiences in the Museum's of North-Eastern States of the country i.e. Nagaland / Mizoram / Manipur / Meghalaya / Assam / Tripura / Arunachal Pradesh / Sikkim with their own establishment and strong infrastructural facilities in those states and also with the accredited record of having completed similar types of work of quality in Museum's for the last three years. All applications along with certified copy of IT, ST, PT clearing certificates, Trade License, Bank Solvency Certificate having turnover of more than One Crore in the last three financial years and all documents in support of credentials should reach this office within seven days from the date of this advertisement.


Details of Work :

• Setting up of new "Dolls Museum" at Purvajyoti Sangrahalaya of Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati, Assam.
• Setting up of "Archaeology Gallery" at Williamson Sangma Museum, Shillong, Meghalaya (old building - ground floor).
• Setting up of new "Ethnological Gallery" at Tuensang District Museum, Nagaland.
• Setting up of "Portrait and Painting" at Mokokchung District Museum in the Arts and Cultural Complex, District Cultural Office, Mokokchung, Nagaland.
• Preparation of Archaeological garden & Cultural garden depicting social life and various symbols of different tribes of Nagaland at Nagaland State Museum, Kohima, Nagaland.

Tender forms will be issued to eligible agencies from 10/08/2005 to 16/08/2005 after scrutiny
