OPEN TENDER NOTICE
 

The Director, Indian Museum, Kolkata for and on behalf of the Board of Trustees invites sealed applications  for the following developmental work from the enlisted contractors of Indian Museum as also from legally valid reputed Museum Developers having vast and proven working  experiences in the Museums of North-Eastern States of the country i.e. Nagaland / Mizoram/ Manipur / Meghalaya / Assam / Tripura / Arunachal Pradesh / Sikkim with their own establishment and strong  infrastructural facilities in those states and also with the accredited  record of having completed similar types of work of quality in Museums for the last three years. All applications along with certified copy of IT, ST, PT clearing certificates, Trade Licence, Bank Solvency certificate having turnover of  more than one crore in the last three financial years and all documents in support of credentials should reach this office within seven days from the date of this advertisement .


Details of Work :

1. Setting up of new Painting Gallery & Key Gallery in the Grd. Floor of front facade of Manipur State Museum, Imphal, Manipur.

2. Setting up of new Ethnological Gallery depicting the social & cultural life of various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh in the Grd. Floor of Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

3. Renovation of Seminar / Conference hall & the area for holding temporary exhibition in the new block of Williamson Sangma State Museum, Shilong, Meghalaya.

4.         Reorganisation & renovation of Reserve Collection area & setting up new visual storage in the Mizoram State Museum, Aizawl, Mizoral.

5. Setting up of new North Eastern Corner Gallery with depiction of life culture of various tribes of N.E. States with proper representation of allmost all the N.E. States culture in the Purvajyoti Museum Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati, Assam.

6. Setting up of new Anthropological Gallery including display & storage & development of entrance information counter in the Grd. Floor Long Hall of Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. And setting up of Ethnological gallery in the “Tuophema”, Govt Tourist Museum, Kohima, Nagaland.

Tender forms will be issued to eligible agencies from 2.11.2005 to 7.11.2005.
