on the occasion of the 191st anniversary of the Indian Museum is organising a two-day National Seminar on EAST AND NORTH-EAST INDIAN ART FROM THE EARLY TIMES TO THE END OF THE MEDIEVAL PERIOD from Wednesday, 2nd February, 2005 at 10.30 a.m. at the Indian Museum Exhibition Hall Dr. Pratap Chandra Chunder Ex-Union Minister, Education and Social Welfare has kindly consented to inaugurate the seminar Prof. Bratindra Nath Mukherjee Formerly Carmichael Professor, Deptt. of AIHC, Calcutta University and eminent Indologist will preside Shri Sobha Brahma Eminent Artist and Vice-Chairman, Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Assam will grace the occasion as Chief Guest Shri Ramananda Bandyopadhayay Eminent Artist will be the Guest of Honour Dr. Asok K Bhattacharyya Eminent Art Historian and Indologist will deliver the keynote address |
